The Budget Birthday Party!

mom life
My daughter has turned 1!!! And of course, I wanted to throw 'us' a party!!!! So I did so on a budget!

<I used Pinterest as my guide to all things birthday. This one is from Custom Celebrations

<Her name banner was made from scrapbook paper and ribbon. The balloons came from Dollar Tree.

<My little girl loves bread! So I made her two types of bread: banana and chocolate. I also made Buffalo Chicken and Loaded Potato Dips. The Buffalo Chicken Dip got rave reviews at the party!
<This is the Banana Bread. Not pictured here is the Chocolate Bread I got that recipe from Pinterest.

<This Dr. Suess Birthday Party Punch inspired the punch at our party.

<This is our punch made with lemon, raspberry, and orange jello in Sprite. I used colorful scrap fabric for table cloths.

< My husband bake the carrot cake from scratch and I decorated it with cream cheese icing and pearl sprinkles! Cute and classy! I took the labels off bottled water from Aldi to take it up a notch.

< I used black and white copies of her baby pictures to spell out 'ONE' on the windows. Black and white copies are way cheaper than color ones.

We also played Minute-To-Win-It games, which everyone got a kick out of. This is my first birthday party to throw, overall I think it was pretty successful. The Birthday Girl definitely enjoyed it!
